About Us

West Chester University Womens Ice Hockey was founded by Brittany Wilson in 2007. She founded the club with just seven players and helped the club grow to become the Delaware Valley Collegiate Hockey Conference (DVCHC) Division II Champions in their debut season. Having shown such great potential in their inaugural season, the club moved up a division and is now recognized as a DVCHC Division I club. Through their hard work and determination, the club was able to achieve recognition by the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and become eligible to participate in Nationals at the Division II level. The club's home ice is Ice Line Quad Rinks, in West Chester, PA. They currently practice on the ice two nights per week and have one off-ice practice a week. There are ten scheduled league games and at least eight non league games per s eason. The Golden Rams play local teams such as the University of Delaware, the University of Pennsylvania, and Villanova University. They also play some distant teams such as the University of Virginia, the University of Maryland, American University, and California University of Pennsylvania. Some teams the Golden Rams scrimmage against are Hershey Junior Bears and the Quakers.
West Chester Women's Ice Hockey are a proud part of DVCHC & ACHA.
